The seabass game series “SilverStream” by Ripple Fisher will undergo a major evolution in 2026.
Previously available only as the 81 Stiletto, the series now expands with the addition of 95 and 100 models.
With this expansion, the Stiletto series pushes deeper into the possibilities of modern seabass fishing, offering greater range, precision, and tactical depth.
As introduced in Development Story Vol.1, the core concept of the Stiletto series remains unchanged:
precision casting, agile control, and exceptional sensitivity, all designed to clearly visualize the process of making fish bite—even under the most demanding conditions.
Even when the surface appears lifeless, and fish presence is hard to read, changes are always occurring underwater.
Current speed, eddies, water pressure, subtle shifts in line tension, and micro-variations created by terrain and structure—each of these elements provides vital clues for triggering a bite.
In today’s highly technical seabass game, the ability to instantly detect and accurately interpret these subtle signals is often the decisive factor between success and failure.
To dominate this information-driven game, the Stiletto series blanks are constructed with a strong emphasis on ultra-high-modulus carbon.
Its exceptional signal transmission speed conveys changes in load and tension instantly, while outstanding vibration-damping performance delivers underwater information with remarkable clarity.
What an angler perceives in that moment directly influences the next cast—and ultimately determines whether the process leads to a bite.
However, Ripple Fisher did not aim to create a rod that is merely stiff or sharp.
While maximizing the information-transmission advantages of high-modulus carbon, the blanks are also designed to bend naturally under sudden load, control lure movement smoothly, and prevent fish from sensing unnatural resistance.
This balance is the central theme of the Stiletto series design philosophy.
High-modulus carbon is not used simply to enhance sensitivity, but as a means to accurately read underwater information and connect it directly to the decisive cast that triggers a strike.
This philosophy forms the very foundation of the Stiletto series blank design.

The 95 and 100 Stiletto models feature a hook-holding hole with a rubber cap at the front grip end.
By securing the lure hook in this hole, anglers can frame the rod, lure, and seabass in perfect balance—ideal for capturing memorable photos from each fishing trip.
The original wood reel seat is designed with minimal steps for a comfortable grip, achieving both refined aesthetics and functional ergonomics.
Because the Stiletto series is intended for frequent and long-duration seabass fishing, special attention was given to materials that develop character and texture over time.

81 Stiletto
A highly technical short rod refined for exceptional maneuverability.
It offers direct control and fast response, handling lures down to approximately 7g with ease.
From light topwater plugs to subtle surface baits with weak suction bites, its outstanding hook-setting performance allows anglers to target and hook fish decisively.
Ideal for small rivers, inner-bay areas, and deep wading scenarios where handling efficiency is critical.
Despite its ML-class finesse, it boasts a proven track record against large seabass feeding on micro bait.
95 Stiletto
Developed to clearly target seabass holding in current, such as river systems and small rocky shores.
Uniform tip tension prevents the rod from being overwhelmed by strong flows, delivering excellent line control.
Perfect for precisely working lures through current breaks, seams, and eddies, as well as long down-cross drifts where high sensitivity reveals lure angle and subtle flow changes.
From spring micro-bait patterns to delicate saury patterns and even large bait patterns using 14cm-class minnows, this model excels at drawing clean lines and converting reads into strikes.
100 Stiletto
A situation-specific model designed for covering wide areas efficiently—targeting offshore currents, break lines, and scattered structures.
Its long length enhances reach and line mending, making it highly effective in elevated rocky shores, estuaries, and surf zones.
Despite possessing H-class lift power as a seabass rod, its tip offers superior follow-through compared to the 95, reducing missed bites and improving hook penetration.
From heavy plugs over 40g to surf-wide searches with minnows and sinking pencils, this rod extracts maximum information from each cast—even under complex current conditions.

For reference, a static load comparison graph with the Hirashuzuki series Avarice 103M by Ripple Fisher is included.
The Stiletto series is inherently characterized by a very crisp, high-tension action. However, by utilizing ultra high-modulus carbon with excellent elongation properties, it achieves a level of fighting performance that contrasts with its sharp operational feel.
During casting and lure manipulation, the rod responds instantly to angler input with the crispness and fast response typical of high-modulus materials.
Once a fish is hooked and the rod is fully loaded, the entire blank connects smoothly into a unified bend, absorbing load while maintaining powerful, tenacious follow-through.
This unique dual characteristic—razor-sharp during operation, yet supple and forgiving during the fight—is what truly defines the Stiletto series.
MX stands for Master-Exclusive, denoting a special master-grade specification.
-
Enhanced transmission speed for increased information density
-
Rapid vibration damping to eliminate unnecessary noise
-
An optimized balance that converts information directly into control
The MX series is not designed for casual ease of use.
Instead, it enables a deeper, more aggressive approach—capturing subtle underwater changes and converting them into decisive tactical actions without hesitation.

From concept planning to prototype construction and extensive on-water testing, nearly five years were devoted to refining the ideal action.
By combining the potential of ultra-high-modulus carbon with Ripple Fisher’s precision design expertise, the Stiletto MX series brings underwater information into sharp focus—allowing anglers to approach fish with clarity, intent, and confidence.
The seabass game becomes this refined, this deep, and this exciting.
The SilverStream Stiletto MX Series proves it.
-
