Both Apis models excel in pinpoint casting and technical operation. While they share the same power class, the 72 is tuned with higher tension. Under heavy load, the 72 bends deeply and slowly from the butt section. For casting, the 71B loads smoothly through the belly to suit various styles, while the 72 leverages its stiffness to maximize pinpoint accuracy.

While our shore models are categorized by specific targets and fields, some models share similar specifications when comparing across series.Take the Silver Stream 106 Northern and the Avarice 106MH, for instance. On paper, their specs are nearly identical, yet their characteristics are distinct. The Avarice prioritizes stiffness and lifting power to forcibly control Blackfin Seabass in rough seas. In contrast, the 106 Northern specializes in compliance, featuring a sensitive tip section that follows the fish’s movement to prevent hook pulls.This positioning chart reflects these characteristic differences that cannot be expressed by numerical specifications alone.
