The RF MORI is a specialized landing harpoon designed for large game fish. To ensure it can withstand battles with everything from Yellowfin and Bluefin Tuna to Marlin, this product was developed in close cooperation with commercial Bluefin tuna fishermen and expert charter captains in Aomori Prefecture—the heart of Japan’s tuna fishing.

Shaft & Grip: The main shaft is constructed using Ripple Fisher’s original carbon blanks. The grip section features a matte rubber tube, and the underlying carbon shaft is textured to prevent slipping, ensuring a secure hold even in wet conditions. Additionally, the shaft contains internal buoyancy material, ensuring the harpoon floats for easy recovery if dropped overboard.

End Cap: The butt section is equipped with a Fuji BRC rubber cap—the same high-quality component used on offshore casting rods. Both the shaft and end diameters are designed to fit into standard boat rod holders for convenient storage.

Thread Specification:

• Thread Standard: W1/2 (Whitworth)

• Material: Corrosion-resistant SUS304 Stainless Steel

Features: This product features a highly durable coating that is resistant to UV rays, infrared rays, rain, and seawater. To ensure strength for heavy-duty use and superior handling, the tip section is made of corrosion-resistant SUS316L stainless steel, while the front fittings are made of SUS304. We have also meticulously designed the shape and angle of the tip to minimize wobbling when the harpoon head is attached.

• Please note: A slight amount of “play” has been intentionally left between the tip and the head to prevent seizing (sticking) that can occur with a completely fixed fit. Thank you for your understanding.

• Made-to-Order: This product is manufactured upon order. Please allow some time for delivery.

• Extension Shafts: We do not recommend using the extension shaft designed for the Multi-Shaft with this product due to concerns regarding joint strength.

• Safety Warning: After the harpoon head has penetrated the target, we recommend removing the shaft immediately to avoid injury caused by the thrashing of the tuna.

• Customization: We do not offer customization services for this product.
