ASANO Harpoon Head & Wire Set

This product is designed specifically for use with the RF MORI. For the harpoon head, we have adopted the trusted ASANO stainless steel “Morippa” and “S-Type Morippa.” This fully rigged set was perfected in collaboration with commercial tuna fishermen in Aomori to ensure real-world reliability.

In response to the increasing size of tuna in recent years, we have implemented several specification upgrades, including a thicker wire shaft and reinforced joint sections.
These improvements ensure reliable strength, allowing the gaff to be used with confidence even on tuna exceeding 200kg.

Important Notes:

• No Customization or Repairs: We do not offer customization services (such as changing wire length or head type) or repair/replacement services for wire deterioration.

• Sold Separately: Ropes and other connecting hardware are not included.

• Handmade Variance: Please note that as each wire set is handmade, there may be slight variations in length.

• Safety Warning: The tip of the harpoon head is extremely sharp. Please handle with sufficient care.
