Introducing the 2026 New Model: MonsterImpact 94HH

A new model joins the Ripple Fisher MonsterImpact series, purpose-built for targeting pelagic species.

Developed to overcome situations where conventional approaches often fall short, the MonsterImpact 94HH excels in some of the most challenging conditions anglers face.

From elusive micro bait patterns to heavily pressured fisheries and calm, glassy conditions where fish become reluctant to strike, this model is designed to give anglers the precision and control needed to consistently turn difficult opportunities into success.

What is the MonsterImpact Series?

The MonsterImpact series was created for anglers who deliberately take on the most demanding conditions and challenging patterns in pursuit of truly memorable fish.
Each model is designed to deliver an exceptional balance of lifting power and lure control, giving anglers the confidence to succeed when every bite must be earned.

What sets the MonsterImpact series apart is its ability to combine tremendous lifting power with outstanding casting performance and precise lure control.
From minnows and sinking pencils to topwater plugs and jointed lures, the series handles a wide variety of presentations with ease.
Whether targeting trophy seabass holding around tetrapods and heavy current, rough-shore Hirasuzuki(Japanese blackfin seabass), pelagic species, or even monster-class fish such as Akame and Giant Croaker exceeding 20 kg, the MonsterImpact series offers a level of versatility and capability unlike any other.

The current MonsterImpact lineup consists of specialized models, each developed for a specific field and fishing style while targeting monster-class game fish, including trophy seabass, Hirasuzuki (Japanese blackfin seabass), pelagic species, and Akame.

・90H & 91BH

The 90H and 91BH are purpose-built for targeting trophy seabass holding tight to tetrapods, reef edges, and other hard structures, as well as powerful fish feeding on large bait.

Featuring exceptional butt power and strength, these models allow anglers to stay in control and pull fish away from structure before they can gain the advantage.

As the shortest models in the MonsterImpact series, they excel in power-oriented fishing from wading environments, low-profile rocky shorelines, and breakwaters, where maneuverability and precise lure control are essential.

Despite their compact length, both models provide the lifting power and authority needed to confidently battle monster-class seabass, Akame, and other powerful inshore predators.

・110HH & 110BHH

The 110HH and 110BHH feature a highly sensitive tip capable of working seabass plugs with precision, while retaining the powerful butt strength needed to stay in control when a pelagic species strikes unexpectedly.

They are ideally suited for rocky shorelines where Hirasuzuki (Japanese blackfin seabass) and pelagic species coexist, providing anglers with the versatility to adapt to changing conditions throughout the day.

Built on a crisp, responsive blank, these models maintain excellent casting performance even in strong headwinds.
Combined with their 11-foot length, they deliver outstanding long-distance casting, allowing anglers to reach distant whitewater, offshore current lines, and productive areas beyond the shoreline.

Exceptional casting range and uncompromising fighting power make the 110HH and 110BHH ideal tools for targeting large fish from demanding shore-based environments.

・113HH – 4pcs

Like the 110HH and 110BHH, the 113HH – 4pcs is purpose-built for targeting Hirasuzuki (Japanese blackfin seabass) and pelagic species, while adding the portability and convenience of a four-piece construction.

Whether navigating steep, uneven rocky shorelines or hiking long distances to remote fishing locations, its compact pack length allows anglers to keep both hands free for safer access and greater mobility. It truly excels in situations where mobility is essential.

To maximize durability in harsh environments, the rod is equipped with double-foot guides throughout. This robust guide configuration helps minimize the risk of accidental damage during long approaches and demanding shore expeditions.

While retaining the long-distance casting performance and lifting power of the 110HH and 110BHH, the 113HH – 4pcs offers anglers the freedom to explore more challenging locations without compromising performance.

Concept of the 94HH

The new 94HH is a dedicated model designed for technical pelagic fishing, with a particular focus on minnow-based presentations.

In challenging situations such as micro bait patterns, heavily pressured fisheries, or calm, glassy conditions where fish become reluctant to feed, subtle differences in lure profile, action, and running depth can make the difference between success and failure.

The 94HH was developed specifically for these demanding conditions. It features a highly sensitive tip section capable of transmitting even the subtle action of minnows weighing around 20 g. Anglers can easily detect delicate changes in the swimming action of minnows and sinking pencils during a steady retrieve, while crisp blank response delivers precise, sharp lure action when jerking.

This level of sensitivity and control allows anglers to make subtle adjustments that match the size, behavior, and swimming speed of the baitfish, providing a significant advantage in technical situations where precise lure presentation is the key to triggering strikes.

Yet, as a member of the MonsterImpact series, the 94HH makes no compromises when it comes to fighting power. Beneath its light, refined handling lies tremendous butt power, capable of controlling large pelagic species from the moment they strike. Once the rod is fully loaded, it absorbs powerful runs with a deep, progressive bend while maintaining the authority needed to keep fish away from reefs and submerged structure.

The 94HH brings together two seemingly opposing characteristics: the finesse and precision required to trigger strikes, and the lifting power needed to dominate hard-fighting pelagic species. By combining these qualities into a single rod, it allows anglers to fully realize their technical ability, even under the most demanding conditions.

The chart below compares the bending characteristics of the MonsterImpact spinning models.

The 110HH and 113HH are long-length models designed specifically for rocky shore fishing. As a result, differences in rod length naturally produce noticeable differences in their bend profiles. Although the rods appear to bend quite differently, as shown in the illustration, there is no significant difference in their overall lifting power or blank strength within the series.

All models are rated for a maximum line class of PE #3.

Focusing on the 94HH, you’ll notice that despite being classified as an HH model, it bends deeper under load than the 90H. This difference is not due to reduced butt power or overall rod strength, but rather reflects the distinct design concept behind each model.

The 90H was developed specifically for targeting trophy seabass. Its crisp, responsive action is optimized for precise control of lightweight seabass plugs and mid-weight topwater lures, making it easy to impart actions such as a dog walk. Combined with its strong backbone, the 90H allows anglers to quickly pull powerful seabass away from structure and maintain control throughout the fight.

In contrast, as explained in its design concept, the 94HH was developed specifically for pelagic fishing. Compared with seabass, pelagic species possess far greater speed, acceleration, and sustained pulling power. To cope with these characteristics, the 94HH is designed to allow the entire blank to work under load, distributing pressure smoothly as it follows the fish’s powerful runs and violent head shakes. This reduces the risk of line breakage and thrown hooks while providing greater control throughout the fight.

For this reason, the 94HH bends deeper under load than the 90H. However, this should not be mistaken for a lack of power. On the contrary, once the blank is fully loaded, it reveals the tremendous butt power that defines the MonsterImpact series, enabling anglers to maintain control and confidently turn powerful pelagic species away from reefs and submerged structure.

Rather than simply pursuing greater stiffness or brute strength, the 94HH combines exceptional compliance to absorb the power of hard-fighting fish with the lifting power needed to land them. The result is a model purpose-built for pelagic fishing, offering the ideal balance of control, power, and fish-fighting performance.

Performance Comparison Radar Chart

Outstanding Versatility Across Lures and Fishing Environments

One of the defining characteristics of the MonsterImpact series is its exceptional versatility, allowing anglers to fish a remarkably wide variety of lures at a consistently high level. This versatility is one of the series’ greatest strengths and sets it apart from other Ripple Fisher models.

Among the lineup, the 94HH stands out as perhaps the most versatile model of all. While it excels at technical minnow fishing, it also offers outstanding compatibility with an exceptionally wide range of lure types.

As illustrated in the performance radar chart, the 94HH is highly effective for targeting pelagic species with 20–40 g class seabass plugs. At the same time, it handles medium-weight big minnows, wakebaits, and jointed plugs with equal confidence, making it an excellent choice for trophy seabass and Akame fisheries where larger baitfish are the primary forage.

Rather than simply being compatible with a wide range of lures, the 94HH is designed to maximize the performance of each one. Its refined lure control and responsive casting feel allow anglers to get the most out of every presentation, providing a significant advantage in rapidly changing fishing conditions.

In recent years, the expanding distribution of southern species has also made fish such as Sujiara, Taman, and various trevally species increasingly accessible to shore anglers. The 94HH is exceptionally well suited to these powerful targets as well.

Even against fish that strike aggressively and immediately charge for the reef, the blank absorbs the initial impact with a smooth, progressive bend while maintaining the lifting power and control needed to keep the upper hand throughout the fight.

The 94HH also handles lures commonly used for these southern species with remarkable ease, including large minnows designed for pelagic species, heavy sinking pencils, and heavy jig heads. By rotating these with standard minnows and topwater plugs, anglers can effectively present lures throughout the water column, adapting their approach to match the prevailing baitfish and feeding depth.

The 94HH combines exceptional versatility with the ability to handle a wide variety of lures at the highest level. Rather than limiting anglers to a single target or fishing environment, it delivers the adaptability needed to confidently pursue a broad range of game fish across diverse conditions.

Although purpose-built for pelagic species, the 94HH is equally rewarding for anglers who enjoy the challenge of encountering a variety of powerful game fish. It is in these diverse situations that the true character of the MonsterImpact series is revealed.

Conclusion

The 94HH is far more than just a powerful rod.

Designed around the versatile PE #2–3 class, it delivers the standard level of power required for targeting pelagic species across a wide range of fisheries. More importantly, it is built for situations where success cannot be achieved through casting distance or brute strength alone, combining the precision needed to trigger strikes with the power required to confidently land large pelagic species.

Whether facing elusive micro bait patterns or heavily pressured fisheries, the 94HH allows an angler’s skill, experience, and decision-making to directly influence the outcome, becoming a true extension of the angler in the pursuit of memorable fish.

Find the fish. Read the conditions. Present the lure. Trigger the strike. Then finish the fight with confidence.

That is the experience the MonsterImpact 94HH was created to deliver.
