Receiving catch photos from all around the world, captured with rods we carefully craft,
is a great source of encouragement and motivation for everyone involved in our rod-making process.
As we approach our 30th anniversary in 2027, we are pleased to mark this milestone year
by hosting a photo contest open to anglers worldwide.
Please find the contest details below. We look forward to your participation.
This photo contest is not about the size of the catch or professional photography skills.
We value your personal moment on the water, the atmosphere of the field, the story behind the moment, and the connection between the angler and the Ripple Fisher rod.
Whether you fish from shore or offshore, as an individual or as part of a team, we invite you to share your moment with us.
All submitted photos must clearly feature a Ripple Fisher rod.
Eligible themes include, but are not limited to:

Catch with rod

Catch with scenery and people, along with the rod

Scenery and people with the rod

Fishing action scenes such as casting, luring, or fighting fish

Approaching fishing locations or preparation scenes

Scenes featuring Ripple Fisher apparel
Photos in which the fish lacks a sense of vitality or liveliness,
or shows excessive bleeding, may not be selected.
Excessive image manipulation is not permitted.
*Photos shared with us via Instagram direct messages are always welcome and greatly appreciated.
However, please note that images sent via DM are not considered official entries for this photo contest.
If we come across a particularly outstanding photo, we may reach out to invite you to participate.
In such cases, we kindly ask that the image be resubmitted via the official contest email address.

A selection of winning entries will be featured in the 2027 Ripple Fisher Official Catalog.
Official results, winner notifications, and prize details for other awarded entries
are scheduled to be announced between March and April 2027.
Winners will be contacted via the email address provided at the time of submission.

Placement in the official catalog is limited to photos featuring current production models.

Photos featuring custom rods may be showcased on dedicated custom rod pages or related content.

Photos featuring discontinued models will not appear in the official catalog,
even if they receive an award.
Entries will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

Overall photographic quality

Storytelling and alignment with the Ripple Fisher brand philosophy
Ripple Fisher considers safety to be an important element of this photo contest.
Recognizing that fishing styles and safety perspectives may vary by region and culture, participants are encouraged to act responsibly and prioritize safety
when capturing and submitting their photographs.
Photos that demonstrate thoughtful awareness of safety
and consideration for the fishing environment may be viewed more favorably during the selection process.
However, images depicting actions that are clearly dangerous or show a significant lack of safety consideration may be excluded from the selection.
Copyright of submitted photographs remains with the entrant.
By submitting an entry, participants grant Ripple Fisher the right to use the photographs,
free of charge and without time limitation, on official websites, social media platforms, catalogs, and other promotional materials.
Winning photos may also be featured in future promotional or content projects.
Entries may be disqualified if they involve:

Photos for which the entrant does not hold proper usage rights, or where consent from the photographer and/or subjects has not been obtained

Content that violates laws or ethical standards

Content that promotes unsafe or dangerous behavior
Awards may be revoked if violations are discovered after selection.

No inquiries regarding judging results will be accepted.
